WalkWay Program is a digital solution created under Goo Ventures’ Venture-as-a-Service model, in collaboration with MBA Surgical Empowerment, a leading company in surgical technology. The app addresses a real need in the hospital sector: supporting patients throughout the entire surgical process, from preoperative preparation to the recovery phase.
The tool provides patients with a guided exercise plan tailored to their treatment stage (hospital, outpatient, or at home), along with practical advice and self-managed forms that allow the medical team to monitor their progress in real time. It integrates with HealthKit for step tracking and other activity indicators, improving treatment adherence and reducing postoperative complications.
A Venture-as-a-Service success story
WalkWay illustrates how Goo Ventures externalizes the creation of new business lines for leading organizations. MBA identified a strategic opportunity within its clinical ecosystem and entrusted Goo Ventures to bring it to life:
- The product was co-designed with the clinical team.
- The full MVP was developed within a healthcare environment.
- Key profiles were selected to support its rollout.
The project remains active, currently in hospital implementation and following a defined growth roadmap. Goo Ventures continues to participate in the strategic evolution of the product, aligned with a partnership model based on shared objectives.
